Who we are

The Cramer Hill Residents Association is a community group full of residents, business owners, schools, churches and other stakeholders who care about the present and future of Cramer Hill in Camden, New Jersey and its two villages: Ablett Village and Centennial Village. Our group meets regularly with the City, County, Police and others to improve services in the neighborhood. We also partner with groups to do neighborhood improvements. 

This organization has been in existence since 2004 as a result of the threat of eminent domain abuse. It has been and is a service organization. We believe in the strength in unity in the community. We must live with the changes to come...so, allow US to decide what we need.

CRAMER HILL RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION, INC.
PURPOSE
The purposes for which the corporation is organized are charitable, educational and promote the social welfare, and they consist of the following:

1. To preserve and improve the quality of life in the Cramer Hill neighborhood, unite residents, involve residents in community activities and decision-making, promote leadership, self-sufficiency, and increase self-worth, and engage in neighborhood planning and revitalization;
2. To defend the Cramer Hill community from redevelopment plans which suppress the rights of citizens, involve unjust use of eminent domain, and would result in forced displacement of Cramer Hill residents:

To have and exercise all powers necessary or convenient to affect any or all of the purposes for which the corporation is organized which are allowed pursuant to the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act, N.J.S.A. 15A, 1-1 et seq. to the extent such activities are allowable provision of any subsequent law. 19th of JULY 2004
