IN OUR PAIN WE FIND OUR GREATEST POWER.
The Camden Board of Education thought it wise and safe to close this great facility and scatter its students, until it gets repairs done. The parents and staff read deeper into this proposal: that it would be razed like all other public schools and converted into a charter school. By law, public schools must be within walking distances of residences. This school, like Harry C. Sharp Elementary, has proven its worth with great scholastic scores, great attendance by student body and staff, and positive community pride. BUT (there's always a "but" in Camden), don't turn your backs on bureaucracy!

CRUSADERS ON THE LAWN
The left pictures demonstrate the love and insistence of students to defend their school's eminent demise if the wrong proposal takes hold. Right, there are parents, neighbors, kids and school staff enjoying a get-to-know-each-other event with food, music, and community information.
Now, this is the American way!!!!!
