Back when we were threatened with eminent domain
The infamous Cherokee Plan of 2003 replaced the Cramer Hill Tomorrow Plan with threats that if you (the houseowner) do not accept the amount offered for your house, you will be taken to court. Well, the majority marched against City Council, the Mayor, and all selfish and evil entities who cared nothing about your family castle. More than 200 families stepped out in unity. Only 175 people were allowed into the Chamber while more than 400 residents and businesses were outside chanting: HELL NO--WE WON'T GO. That's unity in the community!!! Thanks to God, we won...IN COURT! DON'T BE AFRAID TO STAND UP.
THE TAKING OF PROPERTIES IS STILL ALIVE
Since the Supreme Court cowered out of deciding the real definition and purpose of using eminent domain, the states were given the Pontius-Pilate blessing to do whatever they wanted with your property. Today, some entities are trying to use this abuse and...people don't know their rights. The vision of losing before a judge holds owners back from fighting. "It's a done deal, anyway." No!!! This is America, born out of conflicts and victories!!!

If you do not know what to do when approached by a tenacious buyer, call South Jersey Legal Services. Have a lawyer outline your rights. PLUS, sign up with this association and become a part of the cord that can't be cut. Together we can solve many problems. Tell your neighbors about us and get a unity sticker like the one on our Home page.. Remember: if you sell, you may not be able to find a house, property, vicinity, property tax ...like you have now. Also, remember that investors really want your land not your house. And, there is no place like Camden.
